Book Reading 1.0

Quote of the day:
Expose yourself to your deepest fear; after that, fear has no power, and the fear of freedom shrinks and vanishes. You are free.
-Jim Morrison

Left to me, reading books is a lot more better sometimes than watching just regular T.v. Give me a cold drink and a good book, and a comfortable sofa and we'll be friends forever, wink*

I have just finished reading 'How To Be A People Magnet' by Leil Lowndes. I would give it a 7/10.

My current list of other books for February includes:

1. The Fossil Chronicles by 'Dean Folk'.

2. Julian Assange -Wikileaks (Warrior For Truth)
by "Valerie Guichaoua & Sophie Radermecker"

So what books have you read so far this year, or what are you planning to read in the coming weeks?
I'll be sharing more books that I have on my lists from time to time.

Peace & Love.

  2. The first book seems like something I would be interested in reading. I haven't read in a while. I always give the excuse of no time, which in a way is true. But if i really want to read, I guess I would have to make out time.

  3. Interesting! I'll check out your recommended reads. I'm currently reading: "Grace for the good girl", it has girl in it, but it also applies to men lol. I started and somehow abandoned "Forstyte saga". I'm thinking of reading the "Girl with the dragon tattoo series", and "The marriage plot" soon... and a host of others...

@ Che: Making out time to read is good, and you can also invest in e-book readers too.

@ Mwajim Al: I'm all up for reading good books, so I'll be glad to hear your reviews on those books you mentioned. Cheers*

An African Affair by Nina Darnton - a political thriller set in 90s Nigeria.

That which has horns by Miriam Shumba - Love story set in Zimbabwe.

The female king of colonial Nigeria by Nwando Achebe - Non-fiction

  7. The Julian Assange book looks fascinating. It's good to get a guide on good books so I don't waste time reading boring stuff. Nice one.
