Thursday Reading

Quote of the day:
We read to know that we are not alone.
-William Nicholson

Hi ya folks.
How is life, love, dreams and everything else? I do hope that the remainder of the year will be much better, as you continue on your path to success.

I am doing great, and these are some of the books I am reading presently. (Sometimes I tend to hop from one book to the other, reading a chapter here and another there).

Currently reading:

1. Get Off Your Butt By Sean Stephenson

2. Courage By Gus Lee

3. Give and Take By Adam Grant

4. 11 Laws of Likeability By Michelle T. Lederman

So those are the books I am reading simultaneously. I will be posting more books soon. So what books are you currently reading....

Peace & Love always!

  2. blessings.....
I read several books at one time sometimes. This week i finished 4 (a series called Blessings by Beverly Jenkins).

Glad to read you are doing well. I trust the family are as well?

As for me I continue to move forward remember always to count my blessings especially on those days where i am challenged on all levels. I am also trying to keep my book reading commitment-at times i want to chuck it. I have read 73 so far 61% of my goal of 120. I don't know what i was thinking when i made that challenge to myself. I can't quit though because it bucks up against my other goal to myself and that is to keep my word/promises to myself for myself.

    peace.

  3. Interesting reading list. I am not reading nearly as much as I would like to this year but I am currently reading Stephen Covey's "The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People". I am also reading "50 Shades Darker" on and off. I confess I am not finding the book particularly engaging so I'm battling to get through it. I enjoyed the first one more. I am also reading "Twelve Red Herrings and First Among Equals." I have enjoyed every short story in this book so far. Finally, I am reading the Bible very very slowly in an attempt to finish the New Testament by yearend.

@Chuwechuwe: Hello, very interesting books on your list. I haven't read 50 shades darker, but all the others i have read. Good books no doubt. Nice to know the Bible is up there too!

Note to self...buy this book today to read over this rainy weekend. I sabotage myself all the time. I need to stop it.
