3 Movies With Brilliant Quotes

Quote of the day:

And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don't believe in magic will never find it.
-Roald Dahl

I had hoped to watch some old movies this week. By old I mean movies released before 2015 that I never got the chance to see. So far I  have gone through a few whose trailers I will share below. I will also share my favourite quotes in each movie. Enjoy!

1. The Intouchables (French movie, released in 2012)

After he becomes a quadriplegic from a paragliding accident, an aristocrat hires a young man from the projects to be his caretaker.
Favourite quote: Hope well and live well.

2. Hummingbird (2013)

A damaged ex-special forces soldier who is homeless and on the run from a military court martial, navigates London's criminal underworld after seizing an opportunity to assume another man's identity.
Favourite quote: You've got a knife? I've got a spoon.

3. Jobs (2013)

The story of Steve Jobs' ascension from college drop-out into one of the most revered creative entrepreneurs of the 20th century.
Favourite quote: How can somebody know what they want... if they've never even seen it?

What movies have you watched this week?

  3. 'How can somebody know what they want... if they've never even seen it?' ..... I like this quote also ... there must be a 'pull' to determined to have something that others do not see or cannot fathom ... simply because you have 'seen' it ahead!

I watched Texas rangers, Evelyn an old film 'murder she wrote' . I have not watched any of the three trailers you posted ... untouchable looks very interesting .. will watch it this weekend.

  25. I saw 'The intouchables' and liked it. I liked the part he was frothing at the mouth and his caregiver had to drive fast to the hospital-to fool the cops (even I was shocked at that stunt he pulled). The love that almost never happened. Quite funny and emotional. It was a good friendship.

After a long time without movies, this week I finally saw one- 'Pitch Perfect 2'and I laughed hard...

  26. What did you think of Jobs? I liked it! I know a lot of people didn't because of Ashton Kutcher but I thought he did a great job. There's another Steve Jobs coming out later this year and they're saying it's going to be a winner. Michael Fassbender, Kate Winslet, Seth Rogen...sounds like more of an A-list film. Looks like it will go a little more in-depth with his relationship with his daughter Lisa, as well.
