Poem: Foreigners

Quote of the day:

Since nothing is absolute There is no absolute silence, Only an appearance Of temporary peace.
-Dejan Stojanovic

                                                             image: Rabindranath Tagore

She inhabited his subsistence.
The very moment he accepted her flaws.
Past and present entwined in a sleepy cleanse.
She was ready to live without any laws.

He didn't have much to offer.
So he gave her the word blossom.
So she could imitate the flowers in her garden.
And not spend her days lonesome.

And so they ran away from humanity.
She put aside her timidity in obedience.
Embracing new boldness to last till eternity.
Two Lonely figures covered in radiance.

Peace & Love always*

  3. Thank you for always visiting my page. I am a complete novice when it comes to poetry, but I think, I understand this one ... about loving someone with all their shortcomings and love is not all about money. Did I get the interpretation right?:D

  4. @Nitty Gritty: Greetings friend, your interpretation is indeed interesting, which is good as I want each person to interpret it their own way. Many thanks for dropping by!
