  5. The first quote, so true.

That board is pretty cool, and I am glad (and hopeful) that people were honest in their giving and taking.

Pretty cool how nature will take back a place, like that last pic. Bet that is a pretty haunting place.

  6. @Highly Favored: I know just what you mean. Much of the reason why I post inspirational stories is to highlight the positives in the world- a break away from all the negativity we see daily on the news. Many thanks for your comments, much appreciate!

@ Pat Hatt: I thought so too, and the money board is a good in that people giving back are much more than those taking away. Nice to see you on here!

@Nkem Okechukwu: Hello, thank you for visiting!

@ Ygraine: I was amazed by all the stories, really touching. Its good to go into the weekend with a positive attitude. Thank you, always nice seeing you on here!

@X: I quite agree with what you said, good to see honesty in giving and taking around the money board. Nature is nature, everything will eventually return to the beginning some day. Thank you, and best wishes!

  7. That give and take board would last about 3 seconds in Florida! But I do like the photo of the abandoned village. Mother Nature has reclaimed her own!

  8. It is never too late to do the right thing, huh! At this age, some might wonder, "what's the point?" But they did what was right.
I love that. And the quote is beautiful, too. A lot of reading and writing for me this weekend. I am trying to finish FIFTY SHADES FREED.
    Happy weekend, love!

  12. That man doesn't look 103 - it's amazing he got married. I think if you put money in a public place, people will be wary of taking it, even if they want to. Love that green, green village! Have a lovely weekend! :)

  34. Hello and thanks for visiting my blog.

How wonderful that a couple of such great ages can even consider marriage let alone actually take the vows. I am impressed by that and by the leaving and taking of money. There has to be honesty involved there.

  35. Congrats to the newly wed, they are a sweet couple! It is a good cause to stick money on the board from the generous and willing people and allow those who needed the money to take from the board. The moss has conquered all!
