Plans For The Week (14)

Quote of the day:
Here we are, trapped in the amber of the moment. There is no why.
-Kurt Vonnegut

At times I feel the days actually have shorter hours in them. But alas, it's the same clock showing tie that we all have and amounting to 24 hours. Our time is limited, best to make the most of it. So here goes most of my plan for the coming week.

1. Be grateful for life and everything in it.
2. Do something daily that makes me happy.
3. Call up old friends just to say hello.
4. Worry less. Relax more.
5. Create a weekly meal plan.
6. Acknowledge things I can't change, focus on those I can.
7. Plan a mini trip.
8. Keep dreaming big.

Happy Sunday. I wish you progress with your plan if you've already made it, and if not -making one may just make the week easier for you. Be the best in the new week!

Peace. Love. Light!

  11. You amaze me with your ambitious, but worthy, plans for the week. A stranger made me happy today. Terry and I were trying to find our car in the rain, and we came upon a woman clipping roses on her rose bush. She passed me one and said, "This is for you. Enjoy your day." She made my day! Wishing you happiness this week!

  29. Good list! A few weeks ago I sort of combined 1&2 when I bought a notebook to write happy memories in. Anything I noticed during the day that made me smile. Like a cute little bird bobbing up the street, the way the sunshine looks on the lawn, that sort of thing. I'm supposed to do 5 every week but it's more like half the time. And we're off on a mini trip next weekend.

As for 8, I'm trying to dream smaller and be content with my lot. But that's back to 1 again, isn't it?

    Happy week!

  34. Wise and excellent list...

But... -smile- I don't follow lists.

Yes, I can 'plan' on doing this or that. But what do they say about life? It's what happens, while you are making other plans...

No, I fully understand where you are coming from!!!!! And it is wisdom. Stack up the good stuff, before the negative stuff gets a chance to pop up!
