What I'm Reading Right Now (12)

Quote of the day:
I cannot teach anybody anything. I can only make them think. -Socrates

This week I continue with the Clifton Chronicles, the fourth volume in the Archer series. The last volume was a roller coaster and 'Be Careful What You Wish For' is proving to be so too. The beauty of this entire series is that it feels like one giant book -like I've only been reading one book as the stories are woven brilliantly into each other.

The book starts off on a fast pace with a gripping plot twist, and recounts a series of events that may well change the fortunes of the family forever.

In this fourth volume, the story continues from the late 1950s to the mid '60s, with the Clifton family saga, and an unlikely villain who will stop at nothing to seek revenge-even if it destroys everyone. Its filled with suspense, and intrigue. It is indeed a wonderful page turner.

So tell me, what book(s) are you reading? Have a wonderful week ahead!

  30. I just finished a re-read of "The Crossing Places". The first book in a series I love, love, love. My husband was reading it on his Galaxy and I re-read the book, along with him. So we could talk about it. :-)

Don't think he is asssss in-love-with this, as I am. But that's fine. He did enjoy it. That's what counts.
