Quote of the day:
Three things in human life are important: the first is to be kind; the second is to be kind; and the third is to be kind. -Henry James

A homeless shelter -Metro Atlanta Task Force, in Atlanta, U.S, is running a rooftop garden which serves as a means to teach homeless people about urban food production and sustainable technologies. According to Carl Hartrampf, a board member, 'the idea is to produce enough to feed the residents something green and health everyday'.

As seen on Arch Daily, a weekend house by architects David Jay Weiner, located in Rensselaer, NY, USA. The weekend house has the compactness and interior sparseness akin to traditional Japanese architecture, serving as a quiet retreat from busy city life.

Peace & serenity always.

The rooftop garden sounds like a great and very beneficial project. The wedding feast sounds like a lovely way to start a marriage- by being kind and generous to those around you. :)

  32. I've seen the others - but the couple that got married warmed my heart. Honestly, that was so wonderful. I hope that kindness and karma comes back to them two-fold. Beautiful people!!!

  33. I LOVE this post! Love the rooftop garden to inspire and hopefully help feed the homeless. ADORE the couple who thought of the refugees when celebrating their wedding - an auspicious way to begin their life together. And I would so love to live in that little house of glass.........I am very intrigued by the Tiny House movement (your glass house is large in comparison), and its possibilities as an escape from huge mortgages, excess and being house-poor. Also it might potentially house some of we low income folk......we live in hope.......
