Plans For The Week (18)

Quote of the day:
Be steady and well-ordered in your life so that you can be fierce and original in your work. -Gustave Flaubert

Its a great start to the month. The past week went by quickly, with quite a handful of plans being completed as planned. A lot of events occurred during the week, and in the blogging world hearing the news of the killing of a Niloy Neel, a blogger in Bangladesh was a sad one. Indeed prejudice and intolerance is increasing in the world.

Its the start of a new week with old and new plans alike, so here are some of mine.

1. Appreciate each day and be thankful.
2. Meditate for 10 minutes daily.
3. Cook and eat more healthy meals.
4. Work on my personal projects.
5. Read a book.
6. Be kind to everyone that I come across.
7. Workout twice in the week.
8. Find a new challenge.
9. Work, rest, play.
10. Keep dreaming big.

So that's it, there goes some of my main plans for the week. Have you made your plans yet? Have an amazing week, and be the best you can be!

Peace & Love

  1. Bangladesh like Saudi Arabia periodically serves 3 year terms as member of the United Nations Council for Human Rights. How can that be?

The UN must accept its share of responsibility regarding Niloy Neel, Raif Badawi and others being made victims.

  2. I read of the sad news...no one should take law into his hands and take a soul.... I think this week will be a great one for me

  3. Not sure whether prejudice and intolerance are really on the increase. Looking at history, it has always been there, and - it seems - even on a larger scale than now. Take the crusades and witch hunts of medieaval times, for instance.

As far as plans for next week are concerned, it is my last working week before my annual Yorkshire holiday! There will be lots - but not too much - to do; it's my Mum's birthday on Wednesday, and I hope to fit in a run with my friend and a visit to the gym - provided it's not too hot. On Friday, we had 38 Celsius here in the south of Germany, and it's not much cooler now. Much as I love summer and can cope well with heat, even for me that's too much to work out. Same goes for cooking - really not in the mood for hot meals these days, rather salads, raw peppers, and hummus.

@glowy shoe: Wishing you the very best of the week!

@Librarian: Yes it can be said that its always been a part of history no doubt about that. As for your holiday, I'm sure you are really looking forward to that. Happy Birthday to your mom, and best wishes in the new week, thank you!

  16. My list for the week is in no way as grand as yours. At the top is do the laundry! LOL
I hadn't heard of that tragic death - been out of the loop on vacation.

  17. Tragedy and mayhem have been happening since man began walking this earth. As the population grows it only fuels both of these. Also in today's world of instant communication...we hear about it sooner and in more ways than the nightly news. So sad.

You have great plans, Blogoratti and I always find that your inspirations help kick-start a few of my own...

    1. Start painting again...even if I need to hold my bad hand steady with my other hand :)
    2. Keep organizing...my books, photos, and my tiny studio.
    3. Visit my woodland more often...this is the place where I find myself again.

    Have a lovely Sunday~

  24. This task list can only be made by the one who indulges in creative pursuits. All the best for the week.
P.s. I did not know about the news. I just read that and it is shocking! Why people can't let others breathe and decide their own paths. Killing someone won't prove if God exists or doesn't! I don't know what to say- ashamed of humanity and sometimes this religion thing!!!
