Okay by now i'm sure you've all heard that chris brown and Rihanna are dating -and that both of them didn't show up on grammy night for their performances.
Well, turns out that they both had a fight-a big one at that, that left her unconcious and badly bruised up. According to tmg.com, it was a text message that ignited the Rihanna/Brown violence.

Highlights
Rihanna claims Brown struck her with his fists.
Brown was booked on a charge of felony criminal threats.

Here's how it went down according to the police report. After Chris received a text message from a woman who wrote about getting together, an argument erupted. By the way, initially, Rihanna would not tell cops what started
 the argument.

She did, however, tell them that during the argument he started hitting her. According to the police report, she ordered him to drive her home and "faked a call" to someone, saying things like "He's dropping me off. Make
 sure the cops are there."

Rihanna told cops the fake call enraged Brown. He said something to the effect of "You are really fu**ed up now. I'm going to kill you." This statement is the basis of the criminal threats charge.

At that point, according to the report, Brown allegedly began a violent attack with his fists. At some point Rihanna took the keys out of the ignition and threw them outside.

And there's this. According to the police report, she told cops this was not the first time Brown hit her. She referred to it as an ongoing and escalating abusive relationship.

We're told the criminal threats charge is based on that one
statement Brown allegedly made. As one law enforcement source told us, "It's kinda weak, and the D.A. is not going to prosecute a high profile case like this unless it's solid." That's why it was kicked back for further investigation.

And from nydailynews.com

R&B Singer Chri Brown threatened to "kill" his pop star girlfriend Rihanna and choked her until she fainted when he allegedly assaulted her, according to a new report.

The couple began fighting in Brown's rented Lamborghini after

leaving Clive Davis' pre-Grammy party late Saturday when Brown received a text message from another woman.

The "Run it!" singer is reportedly staying with his mother in Virginia and attempting to reach Rihanna, who won't take his calls.

Brown is already seeing the fallout from the alleged incident: Wrigley has suspended his Doublemint ads, his "Got Milk" campaign will end this week and several radio stations are refusing to play his songs.

Rihanna has canceled several events in the coming weeks.

Brown pulled over in a swanky Los Angeles  neighborhood just before Rihanna grabbed the car keys and threw them out the window, E! reports.

After struggling to find the keys, Brown, 20, then wrapped his hands around his girlfriend's neck and screamed, "I'm going to kill you," a source tells the network.

Rihanna, 19, reportedly told police she lost consciousness and woke up to find Brown gone.

Big blow for chris if you ask me. Why would he do that to his girlfriend, knowing fully well that he would get arrested, and charged with assault?
Apart from losing fans, and sponsorship deals -it's going to affect his career, no doubt about that.

  1. he shouldn't have done that, even if Rihanna was wrong or said something bad. it's a man's world, bt there are situations wen things can turn over on a man, no matter who u r, and dis is a gud example, even if rihanna was the one who caused it, for hittin her, it wont matter what she said or did, women are seen as fragile and if u maltreat them rightly or wrongly, its all on the guys head......Gbenga Jimoh

  2. True that.
No matter what she might have done-he really ought to have walked away instead.
Now look at the whiplash of his actions-actions for which he has to take responsibility for.
