Quote of the day:
Align yourself with people that you can learn from, people who want more out of life, people who are stretching and searching and seeking some higher ground in life.
-Les Brown
It's a beautiful morning.
And I am up earlier than
usual...
Bright lights turned on.
A yellowish effect...the sun would later
imitate.
A little ritual of sorts.
Dispels the awkward
moment.
Refreshed. Rejuvenated.
Reawakened.
Peace & Love.

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely...
It's important to learn to be ones own champion, motivation, inspiration for their are times when we would be the only voice we heard when we are in need of hearing another. Sometimes the ones who love and support us due to circumstances may not always be there at the right time in the right moment, during those times you have to be able to lift yourself up.
peace.
I'm just seeing this. Love it! Have a great day today.

ReplyDeleteDoesn't this then beg the question, should a paedophilic Dad be proud of the fact he raped his child as s/he grew up?! I don't think so. should we aim to forgive and offer healing and a new hope? yes, I think so! It starts with acknowledging our wrongs, if we've wronged others or even ourselves then in that we can be proud that we've taken the first step. Liek AA teaches I think.
ReplyDeleteThis is a great post and quote.
ReplyDeleteHope life is treating you well!
