Nasir Sobhani, a 26yr old barber who lives in Australia spends his one day off from work as a barber to give back to the society. He takes to the streets, giving homeless people haircuts -part of an initiative he calls "Clean Cut, Clean Start."

71- yr -old Gunhild Swanson has become the oldest ever female ultramarathon runner. According to HuffingtonPost, The Western States Endurance Run is the world's oldest 100-mile race -and among its toughest. This was Swanson's third Western States race. She finished this year 6 seconds from the 30-hour cutoff, a record for the 70-and-over category.

ReplyDeleteIva Barr, 85, ran a marathon in the UK - for charity, but I read of a 91 year old who ran in San Diego. I don't think I will ever have the stamina!

I'm really inspired by that 71 year old ultra runner! What a feat at any age! I like your idea of finding ideas, people, and places that inspire. The world can use a more positive focus.
