The Preparation

Quote of the day:
You need a plan to build a house. To build a life, it is even more important to have a plan or goal. – Zig Ziglar

What are those things you are looking at doing differently this time around? And what are those things that you would have to let go -in order for your goals to be achievable?

For you, is it a new year to elevate your current position in life-or is it just another cycle of repetitions, of doing the same things and expecting different outcomes.

You need a plan. We all do.

Make weekly, monthly and yearly plans. Short and medium term goals which will encompass a much broader long term goal for you (2-5 years for example).

So all in all -
*Little things make up great things in the end.
*Start small, start with little goals, little changes you'd like to accomplish.

It is a well known fact that people with clear, written goals accomplish far more in a shorter period of time than people without any whatsoever.

It's the start of new beginnings, so be prepared.
Make it happen!

  1. Happy New Year. I love this post and totally agree with you. I have planned that this year, I will set weekly goals for myself and tick as I accomplish them. I have already started and it feels good. That way, without feeling pressurized by self or others, I accomplish a lot of things. First time here and following.

  2. @Che: First all let me wish you a fruitful year 2012, and secondly welcome to my spot, glad to have you on here.
You are totally right about the 'feel good' effect weekly plans bring. More power to you as you accomplish all that you set out to do-week in and week out.

    Cheers*
