A gaze far into nothingness.
your leaving has left me in loneliness.
sometimes I'm high.
memories of you bring me down.
It's hard to just live for the moment.
when thoughts of you seem so ancient.
yesterday's past drifting into the present.
a look, a smile is all on this portrait.
A tune, a sound is all in this song.
so many hours and minutes.
sometimes we stare but we see nothing.
bracing against challenges coming.
Silence makes no sound.
this portrait i have found.
I'm free to view the world.
through another's eyes.
