In the light
I posed with deliberate intentions
In hindsight
I dreamed of intimate reflections.

She bared her fangs
I perched on frail branches of expectations
Let me dig underneath the trembling earth
Maybe, just maybe it'll bring forth revelations.

In the darkness
My eyes remained unblinking
Stepping on stones that pierced deeply
Today, I forecast our emotions will drop steeply.
