What I'm Reading Right Now (4)

Quote of the day:
You are remembered for the rules you break.
-Douglas MacArthur

I have finally picked a book to read for the week, good to go for a planned long trip. I've been meaning to read this for a long while, its titled Purple Hibiscus, a novel by Nigerian-born writer Chimamanda Adichie.

The book appears to be a compelling and intriguing story of one family, while exploring the complexities of life within.

So tell me, what book are you reading?

  35. depends on my mood, as for breaking rules, I did working at Immigration Centre, so unfair the way they treated or made their decision, like a student came me had let his extension fall away because he was too busy, the rule is too bad you have to reply, so I said to him very clearly so he would understand, no you're bit late with your visa, no a second late because if you were late I'd have to cancel it. Always politicians change their mind one day a letter for the very poor to get free medical care is available the next not in the budget. The this woman comes in with babies and 6 children each have the flue, and I'm suppose to not give them a letter for it to be free, I'm suppose to say no, I told her they no longer provided that free medical service, but I will give you the letter. Don't mention it to anyone because I will lose my job, just please don't tell...Govt so greedy...I knew I use to work for a Federal Minister who would go on trips across the world and bring 3 or 4 with him, the spending well I saw it all...and there's no way in hell I was going to let these people suffer, because a sudden change in police...I abhor these decisions and practice!
