Quote of the day:
There are two paths of which one may choose in the walk of life; one we are born with, and the one we consciously blaze. One is naturally true, while the other is a perceptive illusion. Choose wisely at each fork in the road.

Very interesting photos today. The building in Puerto Rico is unbelievable. And I see the rhino is guarded, but he won't live forever?
ReplyDeleteYou've summed up the state of things with your images.
ReplyDeleteI feel so badly for the poor white rhino and all the animals we are losing to extinction... very sad :-(
ReplyDeleteVery sad news about the rhino but glad he is under protection ..
ReplyDeleteI really like the colors of the house in San Juan ...
Love this post, the little yellow house, and the yellow grass the last one stands on. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteI would like to see inside of that yellow house. I don't think with our stuff we could live there, but I would enjoy looking at it at least. I liked that quote; wise to chose each fork of our lives indeed.
ReplyDeletebetty
I heard about the white rhino the other day and how armed guards were keeping it safe. It's so terribly sad and maddening that humans have let this animal go almost extinct.
ReplyDeleteSad about the rhino. See what human selfishness and greed can cause?

@Buiti Christian: Thank you, and nice of you to drop by!
@Linda Kay: Yes he won't live forever, as he's already old at 45 or so, but scientists are finding a way for him to mate I believe!
@cleemckenzie: Thank you, and nice of you stop by.
@Launna: It is quite sad indeed, and to think these animals are being lost because of human poachers.
@International Directory Blogspot: Oh really, I'll be sure to check it out, thanks for that!
@Margie: Yes really sad indeed...and I agree about the house. Nice weekend!
@betty: I wondered myself how it would lok inside the house. Thanks for stopping by!

What a wonderful quote. The house picture is so fascinating. I feel very sad about the rhino...
ReplyDeleteThe last living white male Rhino? Wow and here I was hoping to catch a glimpse of one in my lifetime not through the screen but the real. Oh well!
ReplyDeleteHave a splendid weekend.
No space wasted with that house. Hope the rhino finds a companion. We humans have a lot to answer for.
ReplyDeleteHow could you fit anything into that house? That is neat!
ReplyDeleteThe quotation is lovely - very inspirational. Also, the width (or lack of) that house is incredible!

That house, I would love to see pictures of the inside.
ReplyDeleteWow, great post. Those are really inspiring! I do have to laugh at the people TIME chooses. It's all so PC! I like to thnk the most influential who are truly do the most hands on good are those labouring away unheard of or paid little attention, whether helping the mentally challenged or elderly in some home, the impoverished in some slum like Mother Teresa's sisters and so on! :) There are so many good people out there doing so much without any glare of the spotlight on them. Love that.
ReplyDeleteLove that house too. I like to live simply but wow, 5 ft wide? Even my former studio apartment would feel palatial in comparison. I think i'd get very claustrophobic quickly but needs must!
