Quote of the day:
Any idea, plan, or purpose may be placed in the mind through repetition of thought.
-Napoleon Hill
And with that September is off to a wonderful and fast start. I expect nothing less really, and since its going to be a shorter month one may as begin to put things into perspective, to fasten on the seat belt of life and drive to our expected destination.
The past week went smoothly, and here are my goals for the coming week.
1. Conclude itinerary for a mini trip.
2. Write 500 words for my novel.
3. Workout twice during the week.
4. Reflect, meditate, focus.
5. Read a new book.
6. Clear out my email inbox.
7. Spend time with friends.
8. Accept the things I can't change.
9. Dream big.
There goes most of my list, have you made yours yet? Have a productive week ahead.
Peace & Love always!

DeletePoint 6 will be a fail. See point 8 to console yourself.
ReplyDeleteDream big - I love that ;) 500 words seems like an worthy goal. I could never do 2000/day, nor do I expect to be able to work up to that at a future time. Glad I'm not alone :) Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteBeleza de planos e que os consigas realizar! abraços, chica
ReplyDeletePoint nr 8 - I'd like and I still learn.

New visitor over here. :)
ReplyDeleteThe list looks alright. Good luck!
Thanks so much for your frequent visits and encouraging words you leave that let me know that you have been . I seem to have lost the knack of good time keeping lately . Am finding only enough time to honor DT blog posting and commenting . No tag making for a couple of weeks . With Daughter and family visiting for their holidays this will be as is for the rest of September , I am afraid .Then I must look at making a list . A plan is needed.

Great quote and I hope you continue to be inspired by your weekly lists. Lists work for me. :)
ReplyDeleteRunning the same thought through one's mind in repetition is a way to "hard-wire" a way of "thinking" (or "thought pattern") into the Mind...
ReplyDelete... once there ... this heightened State of Mind... can later be easily called to the surface when needed.... on the "Bad Side"... these "thinking processes" may also surface when Not wanted.... The mind perceives its surroundings as a "threat" (whether or not there is) as a "threat" ... and the mind will quickly revert back into this pre-established Thing process....
... Any form of "paranoia" can trigger the mind to "think" in this manor....
... we just read some "Science-blogs" and they were going into details of this thinking process ... so, the "Quote" has (recently "Proven") basis in Fact....
Good book choice, I do like this author.
ReplyDeleteA novel, wow. Tell me more! Lol, I'm with you with that goal, as well as the exercise, and the itinerary for a mini trip. Mine's in a couple of weeks, when's yours?
