They grew up depending on each other, and in 2008, at 10 years old they were coincidentally adopted by two different families in Gilbert, Arizona -who lived just 2 miles apart.

Lovely post dear! Have a great weekend! xx
ReplyDeleteGreat pictures for our weekend.
ReplyDeleteHello, wonderful quotes and images. It is great the two orphans were able to grow up together and remain friends. Happy Friday, enjoy your weekend!
ReplyDeleteThings we take to be coincidence may sometimes be preordained. We will never know. But it could be so. I like think so. The idea of it gives me hope.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the post, especially about the boys!
ReplyDeleteThese are indeed inspiring. Thank you. I love the quote. I read "Autobiography of a Yogi" several years ago. Yesterday I watched "The Life of Yogananda" on Netflix. When I can I visit the Center for Self Realization, a beautiful place near San Diego, founded by Yogananda. Now, I read the quote you selected. Coincidence? Or is there something in my life I need to focus on?
ReplyDeleteA beautiful saying. : )
ReplyDeleteGlad, I found U again, Mr. B ... have a guuud w/e ... Love, cat.
ReplyDeleteKevin and Afonso, well I'll be darned. At least they had each other to rely on and the creature makes this blog post all worth while!

I love that first story! So glad those two friends were able to remain friends in their new homes. Wonderful. I would love to read a book about their experience, if one were written.
