Plans For The Week (21)

Quote of the day:
Setting a goal is not the main thing. It is deciding how you will go about achieving it and staying with that plan.
-Tom Landry

One word I'd use to remember this month is 'animated', with a mix of emotions, highs and lows so to speak. I am glad its coming to an end on a high, and I am looking forward to the rest of the year, a busy period of new school terms for academics, and eventual holiday preparations and shopping for us all-and not to forget the grim and cold weather ahead.

I barely had time to follow up with pending plans during the past week, and I hope this week will be much better, as I decided how best to carry them out. Here are some of my plans.

1.Question myself everyday, and strive to be better than yesterday.
2. Have some quiet time for reflection.
3. Reduce energy zappers (resentment, worrying, overworking, toxic people, etc).
4. Read a new book.
5. Continue work on a new and exciting team project.
6. Just be happy, and show kindness to everyone.
7. Have a treat at the end of the week.
8. Keep dreaming big.

There goes some of my plans for the new week. So have you made yours yet? Have an exceptional week ahead. Happy September!

Peace.Love. Serenity*

  3. I really don't plan my weeks I just dive right in and enjoy the many wonders we call life. When I was working I planned, now that I'm retired I don't want to plan much.

    Have a fabulous day. ☺

  4. It's my first day back at work tomorrow after my Yorkshire holiday, so plans will partly depend on what/how much my customers will need. We've been moved to a new office, which I'll see for the first time tomorrow, too.
Tuesday or Wednesday, I'll meet up with a good friend for a run, and on Friday night, my Mum and I will be attening a fashion show - a twice-yearly event which is always much fun (especially our comments we make sure nobody but the two us us will hear!).
Maybe some dancing on Saturday, and hopefully my boyfriend won't have to work again all weekend but will have time for me on Sunday.

  9. Oh, that we all followed your list, life would be full. Bringing this list to the forefront will help. Many people are not even aware how toxic some people are. It is a good plan.

    Have a very blessed week.

I'm in the middle of researching a new novel, so I hope to finish this week and move on to organizing my research and writing a plan. Other than that, spend more time with the family and give our son a nice eleventh birthday :)

  39. Setting a goal is a lot of difference from following it and meeting the objectives. Not many can follow through. But one need not expect 100% success. Accomplishing a % of them is already very good!
