For this week, its back to John Grisham with a book titled 'The Racketeer'. It's a bit slow in the beginning, but things pick up pretty fast. I find the story disjointed in places and the narrative can be quite disruptive at times.

Its a fascinating read so far and is interesting for the most part.

It's a bit slow in the beginning, but things pick up pretty fast. I find the story disjointed in places and the narrative can be quite disruptive at times. And this is why I don't read Grisham. All his books are this way to me and often far too technical.

Just started The Floor of The Sky by Pamela Carter Joern. Was in a stack of books that were gifted to me. Had no idea it was a young adult book but it is quite good so far because of the interesting characters. :)

ReplyDeleteI've read most of John Grisham's books including this one, which I thought was pretty good. I'm still working on Jeffrey Archer's 'Best kept secret'. I've been very busy lately and don't have enough free time to read like I usually do.

Right now I would do better with a John Grisham book. Recently someone gave me a book by Lucy Anne Holmes because it was funny. It was, but a bit crude at times. However, it did give me a laugh as well as an insight into the way girls behave these days. So I tried another one of hers on the kindle (I don't seem to get the 'flavour' of a book on the kindle) which is so trashy I can't finish it.
