Quote of the day:
What you get by achieving your goals is not as important as what you become by achieving your goals. -Zig Ziglar
As the days grow shorter and nights become longer, this imbalance is inevitable. The unevenness becomes more pronounced with the season. But life must go on. The sun sets and rises, and our quest for success must not be seen to diminish.
The start of a new week need not be a burden, but a blessing -an opportunity to turn things around, a shift from the status quo. So make plans, live life, be happy, and never stop smiling.
My plans for the week ahead includes:
1. Working out at least twice in the week.
2. Do some writing and self study.
3. Assess my accomplishments so far this year.
4. Read a new book.
5. Plan a mini trip to look forward to next month.
6. Be as efficient as possible, and take time out to rest.
7. Avoid commitments that will weigh me down, zap my energy.
8. Eat healthier.
9. Keep dreaming big.
There goes most of my plans, as I've set out to make most out of the week. What can you do differently this time around?. Shifting your perspective, even slightly can bring about great change. Have you made your plans yet?

Hello, wonderful plans. I like your #5 and #9. Living life, be happy and dreaming big are some of my plans too. Happy Sunday, enjoy your new week!
ReplyDeleteI like this best, Mr. B: ... "shift from the status quo. So make plans, live life, be happy, and never stop smiling" ... Thank You ... Love, cat.
ReplyDeleteHave to avoid the energy zappers indeed
ReplyDeleteI love that quote about goals, so true.
ReplyDeleteYou always have a nice way to look at the week ahead. Nice plans too. I think something to look forward to is always an exciting thing.
ReplyDeletePosting your goals makes them more likely to be met. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI hardly ever set goals. On someone's blog, I declared that I would go kayaking this summer. Didn't happen.
DeleteThat "Goals" quote is so true. All too often, we think about what benefits we can get from our goals, rather than how they can help us to become better people!
ReplyDeleteAnother really inspiring list of goals, "B".
I think I would like to learn to think more positively...and to take more time out to unwind...this week.
Fingers crossed I'll stick to my good intentions this time! ;))
Have a great week.

ReplyDeletea new week and new opportunities
ReplyDeleteit is good to wake up to this being our life and making conscious choices
if we have the freedom to do so
These are wonderful goals. I also LOVE the quote, very inspiring.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed week.
We changed back the clocks here Sigh, days are even shorter in the evenings. But then I do not mind walks in the dark
ReplyDeleteI love this quote and re-read it 3 times to have it sink in. I plan to walk with my hubby when he walks the dog. I want to be up to date at work. I think I will plan a mini vacation day also for the next month-I like that
ReplyDeleteI like #7 the best. Many of us do this very thing.
ReplyDeleteHave a blessed week. ☺
The quote means for me the same with the definition of happiness: the process important. Yes, indeed, with each trial and error we learn about ourselves' do and don't. ` I like 'opportunity to turn things around,' - how often we take for granted what we already good at, and 'dig a new hole...'
ReplyDeleteI think this change of hour does take getting used to ...
ReplyDeleteI like the sound of number 5 - great fun to plan a trip or visit.
Wishing you a good week ahead
All the best Jan

I have been working on several of your goals myself, particularly eating better which has been helping with another goal of losing weight. Also, I am reading a new book, Career of Evil, by Robert Galbraith aka JK Rowling.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the great advice to incorporate into healthier living.
ReplyDeleteAh, I need to steal #7.
ReplyDeletePlans are what keep us going :) Best of luck with yours! xx Maja

I like your list. I think my weekly list is the same, although I have to add "work on being more positive, less negative" too. Especially with the shorter days...I tend to be grumpier.
ReplyDeleteLove the way you started the post. Very encouraging
