Ingenuity, plus courage, plus work, equals miracles -Bob Richards

Teary Eyed Skies!

My arms are too short to box with God...
i thought...

my arms were too short so i ....

I punched the skies instead...
and that left the clouds shedding tears.....literally.

  1. Aww, I like the strength that this piece exudes. A quiet, trying masculinity. I love that.

  12. Sometimes I feel that way...Like I want to fight with God...but I can't...There's no way I can...So I fight what I can...Don't know if that's what you were trying to say but that's what I got from it.

    Brilliant as always.

    Have a blessed weekend! x

Do you do spoken word poetry? for some weird reason I even pictured you performing this and felt the impact of the words, not to talk less of the rest of the poem. nice one~

  15. Very strong poem. I like that the poor clouds cried. I don't know why this reminded me of John Milton's poem "On his blindness" I guess is the God vs human interaction.

    Happy Easter!
