Quote of the day:
We choose our joys and sorrows long before we experience them -Kahlil Gibran

as the
disappeared faded
in the
night sky

i remembered
my own life
it was
too late early
for they
were not

Current Listen: John Mayer -Gravity

  1. That quote is so true. On my interpretation there are so many actions and steps we take in life that set us up for the disappointments we face later on.

About the poem, I love the juxtaposition of the two stanzas. Side by side, its like they contrast. The fading stars (first stanza) but they were never there in the first place. The crossed out words gave depth to.

All my personal interpretation, I may be wrong but that's poetry I guess.

  3. Just crossing out one word can change our perspective of the world.

Blogoratti, you've done it again! :)

  4. the crossing out shows how changing just one bit of our thinking can be all the difference we need....like you are looking on the bright side. by crossin one out, the book remains open ...by knowing to cross those words out, you know when changes need to be made....

am i suprised by the depth and extended metaphor...not at all...cuz thats how my B rolls...keep it up...i love coming on here and commenting...keep the knowledge coming dear...

  5. Miss Natural, that quote is very true like you have mentioned -whatever we do now, builds up for tomorrow.
I'm glad that you saw through the poem and your personal interpretation is correct!
