Quote of the day:
One of the things reading does, it makes your loneliness manageable if you are an essentially lonely person. -Jamaica Kincaid

My preferred book for the week is a different author from the previous week. This is me taking a slight break away from Murakami -after about a four or five week reading run. Although finding time to read can be demanding, it offers great distraction or diversion -one that comes with immense rewards.

So for the week its back to a familiar author, one whose books I've read many times this year. I am reading 'False Impression', by British author Jeffrey Archer. The book contains a murderous plot, and revolves around expensive art, the unforgettable events of 9/11, manipulations, and international crime of varying proportions. Its fast paced, and it definitely is typical Archer -and is quite entertaining so far.

What are you reading for the week?
