Vague As a Dream

Quote of the day:

If you reveal your secrets to the wind you should not blame the wind for revealing them to the trees.
-Khalil Gilbran

I was little...

Now?
I am fully grown...

An actor..
I was on a stage.

Now?
I am..
But a king with a throne.

I once lived in the past.
With the future unknown.
I smelled success..
As one would an eau de cologne.

Sticks and stones...
break trapped thoughts in a glass dome.

Do not seek what you cannot find..
always in my mind...always in my mind.
Do not long for what you cannot have.
Just let it be........Just let it go.

If life is as precious as a stone..
Consider me as a gem.

So do not look for me my friend.
For where i am..
I am alone...
I AM ALONE.

  1. the weirdest thing, when i was in primary 3, one of my friends basically told me the quote by Khalil Gilbran. Maybe not as eloquently as Khalil, but i got the message.
And what does success smell like...just so i know when i smell it.. :-)
