Until The Everlasting

Quote of the day:

The worst moment for the atheist is when he is really thankful and has nobody to thank. -Dante Gabriel Rossetti

How i wish i knew now what i knew then-you hear people say often. If that were to happen, how then would one learn from mistakes, from friends and different events that have shaped our lives and learning processes and later turned us into what we are today.

Our learning process. Our thoughts-those things that we feed into our minds define our character, our principles, perception and beliefs.

In the end we're all just a bunch of parallel humans-we are alike in various ways. Which leads me to ask this 'what do you believe in'..and would you be willing to fight for something you believe in, not minding if it means the end of you?

I believe the world today is a better place than say-what it was over 50 years ago. We've become better as a people. It doesn't really matter if the world is ending tomorrow-at least when it does one can say that- 'i may not have done anything else but i left the world better than i met it'...

I guess all i'm trying to say is that our purpose on earth-yours and mine is it not to make it better in the first place? People that you come in contact with, do you leave them a better person than you met them? It seems that the people that have the greatest impact in our lives tend to leave just too soon. Maybe because they need to go inspire other people too..

So until the everlasting, the sky might fall...
The planets might fade with the night stars..
The seasons might change, and friends can become enemies..

But i tell you-if you make a difference in my life, i will never forget you.

Chasing Goodbyes

Quote of the day:

We shall find peace. We shall hear the angels, we shall see the sky sparkling with diamonds.
-Anton Chekhov

I was am
A dreamer
I'm not
The only one.

I am was your enemy
Lurking around
Your heart
Now we dream together.

Didn't want
to see you go leave
So i left stayed without
Saying hello goodbye.

I Don't Like The Way You Are

Quote of the day:

The deepest definition of youth is life as yet untouched by tragedy.
-Alfred North Whitehead

I do not like the way you stare at me.
With those wild eyes.

I do not like the way you look.
With those dark clothes.

I do not like the way you love.
Empty feeling and emotions.

I do not like the way you are.
A stranger hiding in the dark.

What would i like?
I would like to....

Think with your thoughts.
Watch with your eyes.
Love with your heart.
Escape with your body.

Moment Of Truth

Quote of the day:

Do not protect yourself by a fence, but rather by your friends. -Czech Proverb

One great thing about today...and then some.

1. Today marks my 10th month of blogging (woa, already?) It all started out in Dec 08 back then when with no way of knowing where this blog was headed i just kept writing...and haven't looked back since. So it's ten months down the line today...and to think i'm just getting started!

2. Total number of posts till date -276 posts.
3. Visitors from 62 countries (and err mars) since feb 09...and counting.

One way or the other i know people will stumble upon my blog, and mehn wish i could send out gifts to you all (and not to forget the aliens too).

So to my new found friends in the blogosphere, this post goes out to you. And that includes those who have never commented on any posts but still visit all the same.

Lastly, thanks to each and every single one of you that ever commented on my blog, and also to those who've sent me mails and added me on twitter. Much love folks. Much love.

So far so good...moving forward.

Everything Is New

Quote of the day:

Live as brave men; and if fortune is adverse, front its blows with brave hearts. -Cicero

It's amazing how things don't turn out as one always expects. I mean there you are hoping for the worst to happen-like being involved in a terrible accident for instance...an accident that you were sure would be the beginning of the end for you...but instead what do you come out with? Just a bruise here and there, and most likely shock.

Yes life could be that- a shock...

We often hope for the best, while expecting the worst.
We smile outwardly, but deep inside, a furnance of sorts burns us out slowly.
Thing is, whatever we might be experiencing at this moment, has already been passed through by someone else before...

When people ask me, 'what's new with you'?
I always reply with 'everything is new'. The old me would have been like 'err nothing is new'...

You see for one-the sunrise today is new, it's a new day outside, new wishes, a thousand and one other new reasons that i could write down...but all in all new everything.

In essense i guess what i'm trying to say is that -why not make everything to be always new with yourself?

But never be mistaken...and never get it twisted.
Everything might be new- but there's nothing new nor hidden under the sun.

The Rewind

Quote of the day

Memories can be sad, but sometimes they can also save you.
-Takayuki Ikkaku, Arisa Hosaka and Toshihiro Kawabata

A story told backwards....let's start at the very ending..

The petals roll back in the vase.
The petals turn back into a flower.
The tears run back up her face.
Gibberish flowed back in her mouth.
Screaming “Go don't please"...

I put the flowers back in my hand…
It’s like a movie on rewind.

She put her hands back on her lover.
Her apartment doors open wider.
I step back out and closed it shut.
Walking in reverse, moving backwards.

The taxi cab opening.
I got back in and paid the fare.
And I say ‘Here right stop please’...

I’m thinking out loud 'Her see to wait can’t '...
Radio playing Whitney’s 'I will always love you' backwards...

Cab driver moving on reverse through the streets.
I stepped out back first and hailed a taxi.
Back downstairs, took off the shirt and tie.
The cologne spray went back in the bottle.
The towel flew back to my hands.
Shower door opening and closing...

Jumping back into bed slowly.
I stretch and watch the sun go down.

The clock went backwards from seven, to six,to five,to four.
And that's about the time the story begun.

That’s when the thought first came.
"Today fiance my to visit surprise..."

3-D Boxes

Quote of the day:

Art, like morality, consists of drawing the line somewhere.
-G. K. Chesterton

A dude named Aakash Nihalani.....
His own form of art is using tape on sidewalks and public surfaces....sort of an illusionist.

3-D boxes

I wonder what must have been going through that man's mind-like wtf ? lol.

Folks just had to stop and look..and that dude is feeling badass -skateboarding with shades on. Very creative design no doubt.

Notice the design on the walls..giving the door frame a cubic feel.

Awesome exit- isn't it?

The Prayer (I)

Quote of the day:

All animals are equal but some animals are more equal than others.
-George Orwell

In my mind i already lost this...
Living this life whose purpose is ?
If the wind should cease my breath would freeze.
In this world no man can be said to be truly free.

And I had to put in writing a thought a whisper...
A chorus a beat.
A choir elite...
Life always edges out the weak.
Pure words linger with mystique.
Man to woman conceive populate the world..
Whatever could have caused man to ever fall.

I need a new reason to be able to live.
I need new answers God can you hear me speak.
I'm a captive of my own losses on the high seas.

If this life is all there is to see..
If pain is all there is to feel.

If dreams are interpreted and calls are intercepted.
If the mark is just a state of mind not a visible sign.
Midnight hour clock ticking i pray while i kneel.
People places, this life is so unreal.
Always aiming for shadowy figures.
If God is for us who can be against us.
